Water-repellent textiles

Most of our MU-TECH textiles are water-repellent.
Water-repellent textiles have functions to repel water and mud. Water repellency is achieved by forming small protrusions called water repellent groups on the textile surface. This treatment makes it difficult for soil to penetrate the textile and easy to clean by simply wiping off water from the surface. Many items, including not only coats and jackets, but also umbrellas, shoes, bags, etc., can be made of water-repellent materials.

Breathable waterproof textiles

Breathable waterproof textiles combine waterproofness to protect from rain and wind and an ability to release the vapor steam produced from the body.
Waterproofness is expressed by water resistance, which quantifies the performance of preventing the water from penetrating into the textile. A typical nylon umbrella is considered to have the water resistance of about 250 mm.
With moisture permeability, vapor formed from the sweat can escape from inside to outside the garment, and since the vapor does not stay inside, these materials offer high functionality and great comfort for wearers.

Functional knit materials

We have a variety of functional knit materials, such as a water absorbing and quick drying material, a UV shield material, a heat retaining material, and a cool touch material. A water absorbing and quick drying material absorbs and quickly diffuses sweat from skin surface, and it dries quickly. It is comfortable to wear as steam does not stay inside the garments. A UV shield material blocks UV rays, which can cause sunburn and spots, and it is used in various items such as clothes, parasols, and hats.

“MU-TECH®” can be used for high-brands and sportswear

MU-TECH® is the generic name for original textile materials produced and sold by Muratacho that combine functionality and stylishness. In order to respond quickly to small lot orders from customers, we always have approximately 50 kinds of these highly functional materials in a variety of colors in stock.

Yes, we can prepare it for you. We ask manufacturers to send their catalogs. Please feel free to ask us, as we can arrange them for you if they are available.

Can we pay in the following month after receiving products and a bill from the first order?

No, as a general rule, we do not accept a post-payment for the first transaction. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
We accept post-payments only from customers who pay in cash for a certain period of time (our internal criterion) and meet our internal criterion of the transaction volume. We appreciate your understanding.

Can you provide information about your new products and top-selling products?

Is there a minimum number of lots for an order?

We sell natural and synthetic textiles, knitted fabrics, and chemical products including PVC leather and PU leather.

Do you have business with overseas?

We have business in China and Korea. In China, in particular, we have local staff stationed in Shanghai to collect materials, develop products, and inspect quality as well as confirm products before shipping.

Can you make an original product?

Yes, we can develop a product according to material, use, etc. Please feel free to ask our sales representative first.
